Description
A rich, creamy no-bake chocolate peanut butter pie that saves busy evenings. Ready in just 10 minutes of prep with pantry staples like Oreos, peanut butter, and Cool Whip.
Ingredients
Scale
- 30–35 Oreos (about 1 package)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (full fat, softened)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (for topping)
- Crushed peanuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a rolling pin in a zip-top bag.
- Mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
- Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip to keep the filling light.
- Pour the filling over the crust and spread evenly.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Melt the chocolate chips and 1 tbsp peanut butter in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the chilled pie.
- Sprinkle with crushed peanuts if desired and return to the fridge for 15 minutes to set the topping.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese and standard creamy peanut butter for the best texture. Do not skip the chill time as the filling needs time to set. For clean slices, dip a knife in hot water and wipe dry between cuts.
