Description
Skip the coffee shop line with this quick, 5-minute iced honey cinnamon oat latte. It uses simple ingredients to create a creamy, spiced treat without the sugar crash.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups strong brewed coffee (dark or medium-dark roast)
- 1.5 cups oat milk (barista edition preferred)
- 2–3 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus more for garnish)
- Ice cubes (coffee ice cubes optional)
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee and let it cool slightly.
- In a glass or small bowl, combine honey and ground cinnamon. If honey is thick, microwave for 10 seconds to loosen. Whisk until a smooth paste forms.
- Pour warm coffee over the honey-cinnamon mixture and stir vigorously until honey is completely dissolved.
- Fill a serving glass to the top with ice cubes.
- Pour oat milk over the ice.
- Gently pour the coffee-honey mixture over the milk to create layers, then stir gently to combine.
- Dust the top with extra cinnamon and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, ensure coffee is warm when adding honey to help it dissolve. You can make the honey-cinnamon syrup in bulk and store it in the fridge for up to two weeks. For a stronger coffee flavor, use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice.
