Description
A rustic and comforting autumn charcuterie board featuring sharp cheddar, prosciutto, fresh figs, persimmons, and wildflower honeycomb, designed for slow eating and sharing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, cut into cubes
- 4 oz Prosciutto di Parma, folded into rosettes
- 4 oz Pepperoni-style Salami, sliced into quarters or half-moons
- 1 wheel Brie or Camembert (approx. 8 oz), at room temperature
- 1 small chunk Fresh Honeycomb (approx. 4 oz)
- 6 large Black Mission Figs, halved
- 2 medium Persimmons or Pears, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Candied Pecans
- 1 box Water Crackers (approx. 8 oz)
- 1/2 cup Marcona Almonds
- 1/2 cup Dried Apricots
Instructions
- Prepare the cheese and meat: Cut cheddar into 1-inch cubes. Serve brie whole or in wedges. Place cheeses on the board, spacing them out with harder cheeses on edges and brie in the center. Fold prosciutto into loose nests and place near cheeses. Arrange salami in a fan pattern or rolled loosely.
- Add fruits and nuts: Place halved figs and sliced persimmons in gaps between cheeses. Sprinkle candied pecans, dried apricots, and marcona almonds around the edges in a scattered, rustic manner.
- Place crackers and honeycomb: Lean water crackers vertically against the cheddar cubes or pile them in a corner. Place the honeycomb in a small bowl or directly on the board near the brie.
- Final touches: Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs or food-safe autumn leaves. Serve immediately at room temperature.
Notes
Ensure all cheeses are at room temperature before serving for best flavor and texture. Do not overcrowd the board; leave negative space for visual appeal. Use odd numbers when grouping items for a more natural look. Slice fresh fruits just before serving to prevent browning.
